JOINT REPLACEMENT: PROSTHESIS REPLACEMENT

Replacement operations on artificial hip or knee joints are also part of my portfolio at Endoprotheticum.
IN PARTICULAR, INFECTION of the prosthesis material, EARLY POST-COLLAPSITING OF THE Shaft or a fracture of the bone involving the implants are feared as complications in the HIP JOINT.
When replacing the prosthesis, re-operation can often be performed with a primary hip implant. Sometimes special revision implants are also necessary.
COMMON REASONS for replacing a knee prosthesis are, in addition to infection, instability or persistent pain.
DURING A RE-OPERATION OF THE KNEE, special implants are often necessary to replace defective ligaments (using a so-called coupled prosthesis) or to RECONSTRUCT DEFECTS IN THE BONE (using augments or bone replacement MATERIAL).
SECOND OPINION
IF YOU SUFFER FROM COMPLICATIONS AFTER THE IMPLANTATION OF AN ARTIFICIAL JOINT, I WILL BE HAPPY TO ADVISE YOU ON POSSIBLE THERAPY OPTIONS! REPLACING A PROSTHESIS IS ALWAYS THE LAST OPTION.
